Today we went to Amsterdam. We were at school at 7:45 so everybody had to wake up very early. At 8:00 we went to Amsterdam by bus and after a drive that tooks 1 hour we arrived at the museum: Rijksmuseum. All the people were going in to see the paintings (in special de Nachtwacht). After the Museum we started walking to the meeting point. It was a walk trough the city of Amsterdam so we saw the red light district, the dam and the central station.
At the meetingpoint we started with our cannelcruise that took one hour. It was a nice trip and we see lot of special things in our way. The ambiance in the boat was really good and everyone had fun.
When we were back from the cannelcruise we took the bus to de Zaanse schans. Many students bought some nice souvenirs there and some also bought warm stroopwafels. After looking to the windmills and visiting the little old houses we went back to school to go to the pizza restaurant La Galleria in Noordwijk. The pizza’s and pasta’s were deliscious and everyone had a nice talk with eachother. After this long and good day everybody went home to watch a movie or go to sleep.
