On Monday we had our national presentations, that started at 19.30 in the evening. After a long day of rehearsals, we ate typical Dutch dinner at 17.30 it included mashed potatoes with different vegetables, meatballs, sausages and bacon, there were also vegan options. The dinner was really tasty, and it was nice to chat and to get to know each other. After dinner we warmed up a little and then it was showtime. The first presentation was the Finnish one and the second one was the Dutch.
At the beginning of the Dutch presentation they introduced the Netherlands to us with sarcasm and jokes. After that they had a musical where they sang about the Netherlands and their culture. They had made a song, a video and a dance by themselves. In the song they taught the audience Dutch words like hond which means dog. There were also two cute dogs in the presentation. When the shows were over, we ate Dutch snacks and drinks.
The presentation was really entertaining and well-rehearsed. It was nice that they had live music.We enjoyed it very much and if you want you can go watch it on the Yet YouTube channel.
